Had watched it two weekends ago and liked the idea of re-writing history. However, it's far from reality. The last part which was chapter 5 : revenge of the giant face where the burning of the panicked crowd reminded me of the killings of the Jews as well as the assassination of Hitler ("der Fuhrer"). Cant recall the number of times when people tried to kill him? I thought the number of times would be 42 approx and even people who were under him conspire to do so.
On the lighter note, I thought Christoph Waltz ("The Jew Hunter") gave a brilliant performance in this movie coz he depicted the darkness of a human displayed during such circumstances. In reality, he could speak various languages such as English, French and Italian besides German. Liked the accent as well as the wheeling and dealing done by Brad Pitt's character. Thought the idea of casting the characters based on their native language was a smart move so that this gave the movie's authenticity in terms of the fluency of language.
Overall, I do like this show. However, there were some scenes that were gory. Hence, it's not exactly for the faint hearted.
PS : Waited for a long time for a show done by Quentin Tarantino. It's worth the wait.
