Present

After writing an entry on The Time Traveler's Wife, I have inspirations to write more about time. Had this card hidden in my cabinets and thought it was meaningful. Would like to share this.

Here it goes and hope you like it.

• To realise the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade 49/100.
• To realise the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
• To realise the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
• To realise the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
• To realise the value of ONE MINUTE, ask the person who missed the train.
• To realise the value of ONE SECOND, ask the person who just avoided an accident.
• To realise the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.
• To realise the value of a LIFETIME, ask the person who has contracted AIDS.

Treasure every moment you have ! And treasure it more because you share it with someone special; special enough to spend your time with. And remember time waits for no one.

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present! A present of Time.
