23.10.09 ~ Freaky

Today, I was meeting SL for lunch and another gf after that. After our meeting, I was alone and wanna hang around BHG for awhile.

There was a little Indian boy busy playing with the escalator by climbing the sides without realising that there was a blind spot and he had stuck his head out (while he was climbing). His little head was caught between the gap and the escalator was moving. Panic was in the air. He was crying and the fear of injury was there. Luckily, there was a gentleman who rescued the boy's head by pulling another direction despite the escalator was moving.

It was a scary moment as I felt helpless but to call for help. Thank goodness. The gentleman rescued the little boy at the nick of time. Cant imagine what happened coz everything happened in split of a second. Bet the little boy had developed phobia after this incident.

It's a freak incident when I think of it.

PS : Wanted to tell the kid to stop playing but feared that the parent would say mind your own business. BTW, the parent was around but didnt stop her boy from playing. I do think that it's also the fault of the parent who allowed her kid to play while riding the escalator.
