Busybody or pure helpful

Was paying my credit card bill at AXS machine located at a 7-11 and the other machine was empty. The only reason why the other machine was empty coz it accepted DBS ATM card only. My ATM card was a OCBC and needed to queue. The lady whose husband was in front of me tried to be helpful by telling me to use the other machine.

My reply was "I cant". Was thinking I shouldnt have even answered her.

Wondered this lady was plain silly or stupid. If I had a DBS card, do you think I'll still need to queue? Yes, she was helpful but there was a need to make observations before opening up her mouth.

In general, people do jump into conclusions before making any observations. Often, it tends to be annoying and getting into people's nerves. Of course, this is one of those incidents.
