Met up with one of my gf, EK for dinner last night. Dinner was done at Hillary Inn at Vivocity. Food was not really ok coz the soup was salty, portions of food were relatively small. Not fantastic and we didnt receive the complimentary aura reading. Ok, the overall ambiance and experience was not that great and wouldnt recommend this to anybody.
The whole conversation done at that place was good coz she was 'enlightened' already. Had advised her a couple of months of not delaying her happiness especially when she wasnt keen about that person. It's a great piece of news for both of us. Hooray.
More meet-up continued today and this evening was with RA. It's been awhile since we met after graduation (I think). It's always great to meet up with her coz she's so wise beyond her years. Had Japanese food at Far East Plaza with her and it turned out to be her treat. Felt bad...very bad...would treat her the next time around.
After dinner, we went about the entire building and I wanna get a bag. But there were ceases and the lines wouldnt be gone. Hence, didnt give.
Happy about the people that I had met this week and felt good.

Bitter Rantings...I really hate myself sometimes
Right now, I've some rantings to be aired here.
Being a impulse shopper, I'm like a kid in a candy shop. Sometimes, there is a voice in the head just keep telling you to buy that item. It seems like you are in a trance / high. Once the trance wears off, it's too late. Item is paid and you have no idea/ memory of why you bought it initially.
There are some wrong purchases made and if you wanted a refund in SG is difficult. Only some retailers allowed exchange and that's one of problems aside the bills.
There was a shop ~ Therapy ( i think) was located in a popular shopping haunt for the young located in Orchard Rd. Had bought a bag (inspired version) there and realised that the 'real' stuff had some additional details. This is a problem when buying inspired products. Hence, had decided to exchange and the difference of these 2 bags was SGD 10. However, I was not refund the difference as the SA mentioned the SGD 10 will be kept in credit till I bought another item from that same shop. This meant that I had to shop more in that shop (got no interest in doing that) and not seeing my SGD 10 ever be refunded. She added that this was the shop policy. When I went back there a couple of months later, this shop was gone! WTH! Argh! That's irritating!
Does anybody knows where are they located right now? I guess I may not see my SGD 10 ever again. Yes, it's a small amount but it's still money. There is a fierce competition among the retail shops there and there are selling similar items at the same price. Hence, the shop spaces are constantly changing. Argh!
Lost another SGD 10 on a deposit of a copy in a flea market and decided not to go back to re-collect it. I really didnt know what got into me to buy all these things. I'm always a impulsive shopper and always end up with 'unnecessary' items in my shopping bag.
I was looking for an envelope clutch in a shop located at a new cineplex (not convenient to name the shop). The SA mentioned that it was from London. It's a leather clutch and costed approx SGD 270. I thought the price was reasonable (was working at that time). Bought it after staying in that shop for awhile. Reality set once I left the shop with my prize. Unsure of this feeling. I went to the nearest Internet connection so that I could check on this brand. Soon, realised that the brand was from Thailand and it's rather famous for leather. Decided to seek a refund and not keen in having that bag (I still like the bag). Felt cheating. In the end, I've got my refund and never visit the shop after this incident.
Here are some of my purchases out of folly. I really must learn to master self-control. Argh!
