13.07.09 : Rude People and culture

Went to Orchard to meet up with SRT and decided to have Soup Spoon for our soups. Babysit Baby S while SRT went to order. It was during this time there was a rude couple who sat and placed their food without even asking especially the lady. Perhaps, these people behave the same way in their country due to overpopulation and class society. The lady's fushsia DKNY bag was even occupying my seat while I was at the edge of the seat. Isnt it too much? I was not sitting there to occupy seats but was eating there with a fren with her baby. Couldnt comprehend why people behave this way and basic courtesy was thrown out of the window. So what if you are holding a high position in the organisation? Is it so difficult to open your mouth and ask?

There was another incident when I witnessed a male from the same region demanded service staff to check on some patrons who were not eating coz they were busy chatting and sipping their drinks. In actual fact, these patrons were waiting for their food. Soup Spoon is not the only eatery in Paragon and there are many others located at the same as well as other levels. It's not his right to ask other patrons to move simply because he wants to eat there. Wake up the idea.

Soup Spoon is a place that serves soups, sandwiches, salads, etc. It is a self-service place and if you have to find your own seat, just do it yourself. It's simply disgusting that to see people behave like that just because they think what works in their country will work in SG. Yucks!

PS : I'm not trying to be mean but there are different types of people who exist and the whole dining experience can be ruined by them.
